I have been a lover of photography for over 20 Years! I love seeing my artist's creativity, talent, and confidence blossom and grow as they practice the technical and artistic skills behind taking a photograph.


I would love to share with you the basic tools needed to become a confident photographer as you begin your journey!

Introduction to Photography


Topics covered include:

Camera basics, the principles of exposure and the art of photography composition.


Description:

This is a 1 hour in-person class. This course follows a structured outline. This workshop typically includes 25 minutes of instruction, 25 minutes of a photo walk with practical application, and 10 minutes of debriefing.


You must bring your own camera. For this class I may use a Nikon D780 and/or D850. Different camera models and brands may have some differences but the principles of photography discussed will remain the same.


The best camera for learning photography is the one you already own.

Skill Enhancement Photography Workshop


Topics covered include:

Improve knowledge of lighting, Off camera flash set up, Improve scene composition. Introduction to Photoshop Basics,  Introduction to Lightroom CC Basics,


Description:

This is a 1 hour in-person one-to-one mentorship class. This workshop follows a personalized outline. Participants choose two(2) topics of interest and we customize the workshop.  This workshop typically includes 30 minutes of instruction, 20 minutes of a photo walk with practical application, and 10 minutes of debriefing.


Please bring your camera and off camera flash equipment if applicable. For this class I may use the following: Nikon D780 and/or D850, Godox AD400 Pro Outdoor Flash Strobe & Godox V1-N Flash for Nikon, Round Head Flash Speedlight. Different camera models and brands may have some differences but the principles of photography will remain the same.


The best camera equipment for learning photography is what you already own.
